About the resort
At the mouth of the river Cetina there is a picturesque town of Omis – the center of the Omis Riviera, surrounded by small fishing villages with beautiful beaches. This small area has a large number of cultural and historical attractions: churches that date back to the 10th – 13th centuries, monuments, fortresses, museums. For those who love outdoor activities, Omis is the right choice. Here you can go rafting on the Cetina River, mountaineering, paragliding, diving, navigation, volleyball on the sand, tennis, etc.
The ancient Roman cities of Split and Salona are a half hour drive from Omis. Very close stretched beautiful Middle Almaty islands. Interesting cultural events are the Omis Culture Summer, the Dalmatian Festival a Cappella Group, Pirate Evenings and others.
